Robert Jones Vets moves to new £1m practice in Blackpool
CVS’ Robert Jones Vets has invested over £1 million to relocate and upgrade its practice in Blackpool.
The surgery has moved 1.5 miles from St. Annes Road to a larger 3,200 square foot purpose-built building on Cornelian Way in the south of the town.
The new larger property will enable the practice to increase the number of clients it serves and expand the range of clinical services it offers to pets.
The site houses the latest facilities and equipment, comprising; three consulting rooms, an operating theatre, a dental suite, digital x-ray and ultrasound facilities, an in-house laboratory and an isolation ward. There is a large reception area with separate cat and dog waiting areas, along with separate hospital wards – to keep stress to a minimum. New walk-in kennels and an external dog exercise area have also been built.
The new practice is prominently located on Cornelian Way, served by multiple public transport routes. It has full disabled access and ample parking for clients and animal patients.
Three vets will offer an increased range of veterinary services, whilst four veterinary nurses and four receptionists are part of the 11-strong team, who will look after the practice’s increased number of clients and their pets.
Phyllis Pratt, Practice Director at Robert Jones Vets, said: “We are really excited to have moved into this new larger building. It’s a stunning site with a superb range of facilities, meaning we’ll be able to care for many more patients right here. Our colleagues and our clients are really thrilled with our new home!”
